Uromastyx princeps, commonly known as the princely mastigure, princely spiny-tailed lizard, or Somalian mastigure, is a species of lizard in the family Agamidae. The species is endemic to the Horn of Africa.

Geographic range and habitat :
U. princeps is found in Somalia and lives in rocky areas.[1]
Description :
U. princeps, like other members of the genus Uromastyx, has a short spiny tail which it can use as a defense.[1]
Diet :
U. princeps feeds almost entirely on flowers, fruits, and other plants.[1]
