The large-headed anole[2] (Anolis cybotes), sometimes called the largehead anole, is a species of anole found throughout the Caribbean. It has also been introduced to Florida, with small but stable breeding populations. This species gets its name from the male's strangely large head. It is often brownish in color with lighter stripes on the flanks.

Reproduction:

1 egg per clutch, several clutches per year. Incubation period at 27-30°C about 30-40 days.

Temperature:

air temperature between 24-26°C, local heat spots up to 35°C with "Sorry Link missing", at night a temperature reduction to 20°C is possible.

Humidity :

60-80%

Lighting :

Daylight fluorescent tubes, if necessary UV tubes (see "Sorry Link missing"). For sufficient UV radiation we recommend "Sorry Link missing" or "Sorry Link missing". "Sorry Link missing" for the creation of local heat spots.

Substrate:

loose, absorptive substrate (see "Sorry Link missing").

Cage Furniture:

thin climbing branches, planting is possible (Ficus benjamina, Scindapsus ect.).A water bowl and various hiding places.

food:

Insects (e.g. cricktets, house crickets, grasshoppers, cockroaches, super mealworms, wax moths, etc.) also products from the "Sorry Link missing". Regular additions of "Sorry Link missing" and "Sorry Link missing" are necessary.

Comment:

males are very territorial (only 1 male with several females).
