Project Two : Acrylic special general use vivarium
This vivarium will be all made from acrylic sheet , No any wood here
It will be used for samall humidity loving creatures may be for chameleons ( the dwarf species ) or Tree frogs ..
Structure :
1- I ordered some acrylic sheet to fit the space avialabe above the rack of the small insects enclosures it is around 150 cm length by 34 cm width and around 120 cm hight ..
2- Two drains will be used .. I order it from the greaty company Mist King it is a bulkhead type ..

Drain hole size .
can be cut by hole saw with power drill .
The outlet can be connected with half inch pipe fitting adapter
Back to our project , I will cut two holes for two drains but if you can see here there is a difference to let the pipes to be connected in series .. I mean the two drains not exactly tandem ..
Be sure to cut the frame and allocate exactelly the drain output and coordinate that with the other services , like lights , wires or pipes ..
3- Acrylic fabrication : First of all take the exact dimensions of the space that the tank will occupy , Second let the outer size of the tank less than the space by half to one centimeter .
The crylic sheet is glued by using speciall glue called Acryfix or Weldon 4

Back to our project I use the Acrifix 192 to glue the acrylic sheet
Which required UV lights
Try to keep the protective craft paper cover on the acrylic while you are working and open only the part that you want to glue .. in order to avoid distortion the sheet ..
I left the Lights switched on for several hours ..
After one day is the time to rise the tank to it's permanent position ..
In order to adjust the existing angles you need a supporting wall or a constant so that you can adjust the panels to be vertical on the base ..

The two drain holes
The opening of the drain come exactly to the opening on the frame ..
Now time to remove the paper , clean the vivarium and then you can plant the vivarium ..
Unfourtunatelly there is no further photos for this project .. I used philodendron plants only here ..
4- Lights : I purchased those three lights hoods but I colored white to match with white UPVC pipes ..
The wires will be throught the pipes and connected to the bulbs ..
